Hidden Gems From The B-Side–Faith Side (Week 1)

This is my first faith song post.. I’ve already changed my mind like 5 times this week on what to start off with… I decided to go easy starting out..

Shane & Shane are just incredible.. there music is among my favorites.. they are special.. they’ve been around for like 25 years.. the songs and the lyrics are top shelf.. and not so mainstream…

This first video is a beautiful short instrumental interlude.. followed by the featured song “Holiday” from the album “Pages” 2007… this album is on my all-time best list.. every song on it is awesome…

Also.. a side note.. the way these two guys harmonize together… is magical.. Shane Barnard & Shane Everett are their names.. Barnard is the front man and plays guitar and sings lead.. and Everett.. aka E.. he sings back up.. and he is maybe my favorite singer.. you should hear him hit the highs.. it’s just special..

Reflection

A pause.
A song.
A feeling.

You decide the rest.

Psalm 98:1 💯💥🎶☝️

for He has done marvelous things.”

The End Is Where We Begin…

Steel-Toed Love

Kicked in my face.

Kicked into place.

Kicked by Grace.

“Sacred minimalist?? Me?
You think I’m easy?
No.. no…
I require dinner.. a movie..
and maybe… maybe…
a kiss….…a Judas kiss even…”

Hidden Gems From The B-Side — Life Side (Week 1)

World Inside My Head 🎶 Sister Hazel

I first came across Sister Hazel in the 90’s… they had like 2 maybe 3 songs that hit the charts… the song “Happy” and “All For You”..💥around the early 2o0O’s.. i💥started deep diving into them and was just💥blown💥away… their music is incredible… so many beautiful.. well written and well put💥together songs.. excellent lyrics and sound… you feel their heart in everything…💥 (I think they are the most underrated band of all time) and coming from me.. that’s really saying something..💥( Ken Block is considered the front man… and has a one of a kind voice… Ken writes a lot of the songs.. but Drew Copeland on guitar and harmonies.. he also helps write some… Drew also sings lead on some songs.. also.. other band members help write…💥

This song “World Inside My Head” is one my favorites from them.. there’s too many to choose from tho.. so it’s hard to say..💥this song was released in 2o04 and this is the acoustic version from one of my💥 favorite albums of all time “Before The💥 Amplifiers”…  this song is excellent and it’s definitely a Hidden Gem…. tucked💥away… waiting to be found.. I hope you enjoy..💥

“”TELL ME WHAT IT IS ABOUT ME? WHERE DID EVERYBODY GO WITHOUT ME?”” 🎶

“”ON THE ROAD TO SAFE.. I KINDA TRIPPED ALONG THE WAY…””🎶

“”BUT THE PAINT ON ME.. IS BEGINNING TO DRY.. AND IT’S NOT WHAT I WANTED TO BE 🎶 THE WEIGHT ON ME 🎶
IS HANGING ON TO A WEARY ANGEL””

On Wednesdays.. I will be posting secular or spiritual songs… and on Sundays I will do christian songs of faith.. all great💥 “Hidden Gem” type songs… ty and God bless you… a little something for💥 everyone…💥

“Introducing… Hidden Gems From The B-Side…”

Hidden Gems from the B-Side

by Loia

Each week, I want to share a you tube song video with you that never made the front page — but should’ve…………
Hidden gems… the kind of tracks that slip past the charts yet stay in the soul…
They’re the B-sides — the quieter anthems… the holy echoes… the ones that speak when the world’s too loud…
This is where we listen closer… where beauty hides on the flip side… I plan on using a mix of secular/christian/spiritual songs that I think are beautiful and  unknown… I have thousands of songs like this living inside me… I’m 52 years old.. and I’m a musician/singer… great songs are a part of me… I’ve been like this since I was a child… (songs from every genre)… I have an original quote that I coined, and I have different variations of it.. but basically.. it’s “Live 4 The B-Side…” I’m not the mainstream type… although I can’t avoid the A-Side… I never stay too long there… So if you love music like I do… I hope you take the time to scroll/click/listen/enjoy these gifts from my heart to you… ((( I’ve decided to post 2 songs a week.. a secular/spiritual song on Wednesday and then a christian/faith type song on Sunday)))
