As a former worship leader I’ve performed many of their songs over the years… so I’ve been blessed to see firsthand how different songs affect people in different seasons of life…

One of the most powerful songs I’ve ever witnessed in that way… is Redeemed…
There’s just something about it…

I used to perform it often for the residents at a psychiatric hospital — people at rock bottom… battling depression… anxiety… addiction… lost and hurting…

And every time… it brought tears…
It brought healing…

It’s powerful…
It meets you exactly where you are…

Before every concert.. the band has a quiet devotional time together.. then they literally walk through the venue and touch every seat.. praying for the specific person who will sit there that night
After shows.. instead of disappearing backstage.. they routinely stay for an hour or more to pray individually with people.. making them some of the last to leave the building

Shane & Shane 🎶 Psalm 62

“Psalm 62” by Shane & Shane comes from their 2007 Pages album.. and it’s built straight out of the Scripture itself—‘my soul waits in silence for God alone..’ The song carries the Old Testament language of God being our rock.. refuge.. and salvation.. set to a modern worship sound that makes ancient truth feel close.. It’s one of those songs written for seasons of waiting and uncertainty—when you need to remember that no matter what shakes around you.. He doesn’t.. I hope yall enjoy.. Hidden Gems From The B-Side–Faith Side (Week 1)

This is my first faith song post.. I’ve already changed my mind like 5 times this week on what to start off with… I decided to go easy starting out..

Shane & Shane are just incredible.. there music is among my favorites.. they are special.. they’ve been around for like 25 years.. the songs and the lyrics are top shelf.. and not so mainstream…

This first video is a beautiful short instrumental interlude.. followed by the featured song “Holiday” from the album “Pages” 2007… this album is on my all-time best list.. every song on it is awesome…

Also.. a side note.. the way these two guys harmonize together… is magical.. Shane Barnard & Shane Everett are their names.. Barnard is the front man and plays guitar and sings lead.. and Everett.. aka E.. he sings back up.. and he is maybe my favorite singer.. you should hear him hit the highs.. it’s just special..
