🎶 Women I’ve Never Had 🎶 Heaven Can’t Be Found…
This week’s picks come straight from my lady’s heart — two of her favorite Hank tunes… she’s got good taste 😁
(I’ll admit, I’m partial to these also.)
🎶 Women I’ve Never Had — Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound (1980)
🎶 Heaven Can’t Be Found — Born to Boogie (1987)
Cool Hank fact:
Born to Boogie won CMA Album of the Year in 1987 — one of the rare times a true outlaw-style record got full industry respect…
Appreciate yall listening… have a heck of a weekend — let’s light it up 🔥 😎…

I have always been a big fan of Hank Jr. I became more of a fan after seeing how he honored Audrey and Hank Sr.with the beautiful grave sites.

Hank Williams Jr. is the master of the country flip-side: he spends his Saturday nights chasing “Women I’ve Never Had” and his Sunday mornings realizing “Heaven Can’t Be Found” once the right one walks out the door. It’s the ultimate outlaw cycle of wild freedom followed by the heavy price of loneliness.
Women I’ve Never Had: A carefree anthem about the thrill of the chase and living life without apologies.
Heaven Can’t Be Found: A brutally honest look at the “hell” of searching for peace in bars and honky-tonks when your real “heaven” has already left.

This is such a fun, soulful post—equal parts love letter to great music and easygoing weekend vibes. I love how you frame the song picks as coming from your lady’s heart; that personal touch makes the whole thing feel warm and lived-in. And honestly, those are solid Hank choices—timeless, gritty, and full of feeling.
