Thank you.. I’m glad you love.. I love them too.. so many great songs.. I know they catch a bad rap sometimes amongst traditional old school country music people.. but I still love em lol.. and I love the traditional too.. I will feature them eventually in my Wednesday hidden gems post..

Lol @ the bad raps stuff… so yeah.. they catch hell at times from critics and different people.. both in country and the hip hop community.. I’ve always loved them… I think it’s great stuff… but I get it.. I understand where people are coming from… it’s just different.. blending the the two.. I’ve heard it called Bro-Country… that may be accurate

Yes exactly what I meant. I couldn’t imagine what kind of bad rap because I love them! Of artists crossover in genres quite often! Too many to mention! Thanks for helping me to understand it! ❤️

To go even further with it.. some critics describe parts of their music as “bad rap” or “white boy rap” basically saying that some lyrical patterns or rhythmic sections sound awkward or low quality compared to both traditional country and real rap.. but yeah it often shows up on music blogs and forums where fans like harshly judge their music.. but I have my roots both in country and rap.. so I really dig it.. it’s nice every now and then for a change… I go through seasons with them.. I’ll listen much for a month or two then I’ll move on for a while.. but I always come back… and I can put all their songs on shuffle and just let it roll.. they are all great I think..

It all comes down to personal taste! I’m sure you have a special spin on it being a musician and all! Bottom line is that we like FGL and that’s that!

Also.. their song “God, Your Mama, and Me” (feat. backstreet boys) is my special song to my lady… some of their stuff can be quite romantic and beautiful.. good girlfriend music
