🎙Songs From the Bathroom #34

🎧 My Cracker & Pearl Jam Covers

One Halloween when I was like 13, me and a couple of my friends decided to dress up like girls.

My mama and sister hooked me up with shoes and a dress and a stuffed bra and pantyhose and a wig and a purse haha. Then they sat me down in a chair and did my make-up for me.

I must have sat there an hour, and they were both laughing and cracking up the entire time. But toward the end, they were just like, “OMG OMG WAIT TILL YOU SEE!”

I wasn’t in front of a mirror while they were doing it.

When they finally finished, I went to the bathroom and checked myself out, and it just blew me away. I couldn’t believe it.

It creeped me out.

I looked just like my mother. 🙆‍♂️

    1. Thank you Tim. Much appreciated. And yeah I believe I did have fun that Halloween. It was just about us kids having a good time with each other and not about anything else that people feel Halloween represents today. We didn’t care about any of that lol

  1. That’s great! Love this pic too!

These songs are great. Did you change anything with the sound? The acoustics sound a bit richer and deeper. Loved these.

  2. That must have been quite a Halloween surprise! Your mama and sister clearly knew what they were doing. The best part is that you expected to see a girl in the mirror, but instead, you discovered your mother staring back at you! What a hilarious memory to carry through life! 😄

    1. Ooo that’s so cool haha. I wasn’t going for that with it. I literally didn’t even think about it much. I just wrote what I felt quickly as I remembered it. The whole thing only took a few minutes lol. Thank you much. That’s a great compliment.

_A disorganized person cannot make meaningful progress. Give and direct your mind what to ponder upon. Don’t let your emotions control and ruin your life. Learn to take charge over your emotions, making them align with God’s Word. Consistently speak to your mind and talk yourself up to bring your emotions into line with the truth._

_Create a life that aligns with your purpose, and your future self will thank you. Purpose is the cure for indiscipline. Sever ties with the old patterns of low self-esteem and self-sabotage. Let the old stories end. Welcome the new beginnings waiting across new doors waiting for you. It’s all meant for you now! Take challenges as a push up towards your elevation._
