I’ve got many miles behind me.
I have many cool and crazy stories from my truck driving career. So i think I’ll do a new series. It may not be a weekly thing just as I have time and get them penned. Some I may use for my book in the future.
I drove for about 17 years, from 97 to 2oO8 then I worked in ministry from 2oO8-12 then I started driving again from 2o12-16. Then I hung it up for a little bit.
Then from 2o17-19 I drove a straight truck for my church thriftstore. It’s not what you think of when you think thriftstore… they do millions in sales every year. In between this time i also went on some mission trips around the world.
It’s nice working for your church. It’s flexible lol.
Some of my career was spent all over the US running solo, with a handful of different companies and team driving and training new drivers. I ran local in Atlanta for some years and Florida too. I had my own truck and business also for awhile in Atlanta.
In fact… I could write a thick Bible of just these stories.
I got some good ones.
But we’ll leave that for the reader to decide. 😎

The world needs to hear your stories. Let them fly…or well…drive!
Haha thanks. I’ll do my best. Well on second thought, probably not my best to impress but just tell them as quick and fast as I can lol. I don’t really like spending much time writing. I like to finish a story in one sitting in time to do other stuff like record songs lol.
You have a lot to share! I get it!
Yeah I think that may be the gist of it. On some stories I take more time. I think 8 hours or so is the most I’ve spent on some of them. And that’s like continually until I feel done. I never start one then stop and come back to it. But I’d probably do a much better job writing if I did.
Everyone is different. If I stop in the middle of a piece – I feel I lose the original flare of my message. It is a completely different piece if I abandon it and come back later. I know people who spend days cultivating one piece and it is brilliant.
But most of the longer ones I just spend 2-4 hours maybe
It’s good that you were a truck driver, Bryan. A Bible of your stories should be fascinating.
Thanks Tim. Yeah maybe some will like them. And if not atleast I’ll have them all in one place. I may not get them all done. I’m sure it will take a minute lol
Ooo…these are going to be good.
Thanks, Hopefully lol.
What an interesting journey you’ve had! 🚛😊 Seventeen years on the road must have given you countless experiences, unexpected adventures, and stories worth sharing. I love your idea of turning those memories into a series, especially with a possible book in the future. Your experiences in ministry, mission trips, and serving your church add even more depth to your story. Take your time and enjoy bringing those memories to life. I’m looking forward to reading your adventures from the road! 📚✨
Thanks buddy 😎
What an incredible journey. You’ve truly lived a life full of purpose, hard work, and with unique experiences.Sounds like you have enough stories for a whole library. I can’t wait to read these stories, definitely count me in as a reader.
Thank you very much. Hopefully the stories will all come together

Definitely write it. And write your whole life story, too. A two-book set!
