What are your favorite animals?
A memory that climbed up my leg and stayed…
Animals are great.. they can be your best buddy.. your worst nightmare.. or a sandwich.. it just depends on which one you choose.. they’re diverse like that..
I’ve experienced them as all three.. I think I prefer them as friend or food..
The animal I’m about to tell you about can be either of the three…
So the squirrel isn’t my favorite animal.. but I’ve got some cool stories.. I’ve had a few as pets over the years.. and I’ve had dealings with them many times..
I once had like five babies at the same time.. it was overwhelming.. so I took them and dropped them off at a veterinarian’s office.. and said “here.. you can have these” haha…
My first ever experience with a squirrel was a memorable one.. I ended up giving her a name.. “Peanut..” She was a special little thing.. she became my buddy.. and part of my family..
One day.. I was outside.. I just happened to look down as I walked.. and there was this small baby squirrel..
I stopped and just observed.. I didn’t want to touch it.. because I wasn’t sure if maybe the mama wouldn’t come back for it.. and I didn’t want to leave my scent..
Then she started coming to me.. and to my surprise.. she climbed up my pants leg and into my arms..
and it was over.. my heart was won…

Ironically when I lived in New York I too had a pet squirrel who I fed out the window almost everyday. She disappeared for a few days came back with her babies. They were so tiny and cute. They nested on the terrace. 🥰 Your squirrel stories are so cute. 🙌🏻 I guess people used to have squirrels as pets back in the day🤷🏻♀️ Kind of like pigeons . Crazy huh😁 Anyways wonderful post.🙏🏻❤️🔥

I like squirrels better than pigeons, though, because pigeons are kinda like rats with wings 🤭😏

I think my squirrel days may be over.. the last one I gave to my friends daughters.. and it became part of their family.. and they actually released it in the front yard of their home.. and it started a family.. and would still come and say hello anytime they went outside.. ty’ for checking it out.. Well. Lol at the time I wrote this I didn’t want to finish it because it was sad. But I fell super in love with her. She was so sweet. And I went to work one day and came home and she was unconscious but still barely breathing and I tried for hours to save her but she ended up dying and I took her outside and buried her under the big oak she was born in
She was my first pet squirrel and I was just learning how to take care of her back then but I ended up having a few over the years after her
Awww, that is sad. Ain’t it crazy? The things we experience in life. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to push it, I was just kidding.
Oh no your fine. I’m ok she’s just a squirrel just at the time I decided to cut the story short not because I was traumatized. I just didn’t feel like finishing it at the time and I thought I’d leave it on a happy note lol

Yeah sure, the easiest way is to copy the you tube video link and then paste it in your WordPress post by itself on a line

Yeah that’s how I do it and I’m not sure which theme you run but I think it’s the same across the board
You can also click on “share” in the you tube video then select “jetpack” app if you use the app like I do but then it as applies its own title to the post
So I find it easier to just copy paste the link.

Yes, I did a few test runs and I’m still working on it but I’m sure I’ll have it figured out for what I really want to upload on there, thank you 🙏 cause I thought it was much more complicated than that, and you seem to navigate your way through it pretty well.
When you copy your link, how do you do it exactly? Do you click the litte share arrow inside the video then click “copy link?” I just noticed that on my end, when I’m looking at your blog and your video, it just shows a small lil link that says “youtube/watch” or something like that and it’s nit showing like a full video box or thumbnail or whatever. So that makes me wonder.
I did the copy and paste and I did the share arrow click also. The link was all I could actually get on there,but you know what? It did ask if I wanted to embed the video or link it, and I think that’s when it started getting busy over here so I had to put it aside and I haven’t been able to get to it today, yet
Ok maybe each theme is different because with mine, it never asks if I want to embed the link. It just automatically does it. I run “twenty seventeen” theme
