So here’s a cool recent story…
My uncle… he’s one of a kind…
musician… singer… painter… writer…
pilot… great cook… tells the best jokes… haha…
super funny… just a straight up… Rockstar Renaissance dude…
He’s dealing with a rare form of cancer…
and he calls me most every day…
So last time we were talking… music… bands…
he asks me—
“you know that band DIESEL?”
I said… nah… not ringing a bell…
He goes—
“yeah… DIESEL… they sing that song Hemorrhage…”
I said—
“Oooo… you mean FUEL bro…”
He pauses…
“…yeah… FUEL!” 😂
He said they’re awesome…
I told him—
yeah… you’re absolutely right…
and started throwing him a few more songs to check out from them…

Will check them out! That’s a good question to ponder – changing lead singers and what it does to the fiber of the band. I’m still debating Van Halen with people. lol

Yeah no doubt… lol @ still debating Van Halen 😅… which was your favorite… I’d have to say DLR for me… however I’m a huge Sammy Hagar fan… but I loved his early stuff… when he was with HSAS… never really got into as much when he was with VH…

I was so anti Sammy at the time. I went bananas about DLR leaving. All of a sudden I softened on Sammy and now I’m a huge fan. He’s a great friend of Kenny Chesney’s so I’m constantly watching their collaborations.

Yes Kenny became friendly with Sammy from Emeril Lagasse the chef. I’m telling you I missed my calling. I should have been a groupie and tried to hook up with that pack!!!

Ah, yeah, Fuel ― it wasn’t their biggest hit, but their song “Shimmer” is one of my favorites of all time.
