Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound 🎶 I Can’t Change My Tune
Hey yall… hope you’re doing good… and wishing everyone a great weekend…
It’s time to Hank it up again…
Today I’ve got two more great ones for you…
Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound… Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound 1979 🎶
I Can’t Change My Tune… High Notes 1982 🎶
I Can’t Change My Tune is one of my many Hank Jr. favorites… just a great song
…
I’ve also included a rare bonus video of Hank at his home… it’s a good one… gives you a little glimpse into how he lives…
He’s never seemed too interested in the mansion-and-caviar lifestyle… but he sure seems to live richly all the same haha…
Hope you enjoy 😁

He just looks larger than life. I mean we hear his life in his songs but damn! I’m sure he has so many stories to share that were never recorded!

Yeah he’s pretty large lol… also when I think about his story… it’s a unique one… all he’s been through… being born into country music royalty… and put right in the spotlight as a kid… and they dressed him up like his daddy… threw him out on stage and kind of forced him to sing his father’s song… a father he didn’t know… because he died when he was 3 yo… and as he got older he had to fight like hell to break away from all that and do his own thing… then his battle with alcohol and drugs and the spotlight… and falling over 500 feet down the mountain in 1975 and almost dying and all the reconstructive facial surgeries he had… and through it all… he always was about a simple life of an outdoorsman/sportsmen… he’s definitely one of a kind… and hes brilliant… writes great songs… lyrically and musically… just so down to earth… relatable and lived are his songs
