🎧 Maybellene • I Wasn’t Born to Follow
I woke up around 4:30 AM this morning and laid there for a little bit. Lately I’ve been having a lot of creative thoughts shortly after waking up as I lie still in the dark and think… think… think.
Then the 1955 Chuck Berry song Maybellene came to mind just randomly. Haha… how strange, right? Social D does a great rendition of it. The other one is another well-written Mike Ness original, I Wasn’t Born to Follow.
Also, I’m really thinking back on my life today… if only.
Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy.

I saw Ronnie Wood at Birmngham Symphony Hall in December 2019 at his tribute to Chuck Berry show.It was amazing and of course he did this song.I was lucky to be in a private box area with a few others.I spoke to Sally Wood before the show..Imelda May joined him on some numbers.

Wow. So cool that you’ve got to interact and work with many famous people over the years

i wish I hadn’t taken working for Led Zeppelin for granted .Seeing Jimmy Page and Robert Plant come to the office frequently during the Knebworth period etc. At the time I was busy listening to Tom Petty ,Neil Young,Ramones,The Doors,Springsteen,The Byrds ,Merle Haggard,Johnny Cash,Willie Nelson ,Blondie,Velvet Underground ,Iggy Pop and more
