What’s the best local dish you’ve ever eaten while traveling?
A collection of food I’ve enjoyed during my travels and some of my home cooking. 🍴
Traditional Boodle Fight meal, Sagbayan,Bohol 🇵🇭Chicken intestines and hearts on a freakin stick 🇵🇭Swordfish, Prawns, some kind of rice wrapped in leaves and the chicken intestines and hearts Tempura, Street food, Sagbayan, Bohol 🇵🇭Korean restaurant in Cebu City, Philippines… mmm Kimchi Pork Belly, you cook it yourself
Below is the view from inside the restaurant on Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines 🇵🇭

My Cooking 🇺🇲
Pork Tenderloin – Turkey Tenderloin🦬 Ground Bison🦬 🦬 Skirt Steak marinadingRibeyeHomemade Taco SaladJamaican Jerk Chicken 🇯🇲My yummy Creole soft boiled eggsOrganic Plain Greek yogurt, granola, banana, dried blueberries and cranberries… my goto breakfast many mornings My famous spaghetti, my mom’s recipeChick-fil-A I forget exactly but it’s a pickled dish from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Those chicken intestines were gross… I tried them, just to say I did it but I just had a bite… I don’t do chicken parts other than the white or dark meat haha… and yeah the Chick-fil-A is the best of them all haha. Thanks for checking it out. Hope you’re having a good day 😎
I see that you have tried dishes from my country, the Philippines. There’s still much actually because each region and province has their own dishes to showcase. 😊
Ooo your from the Phil’s! So cool… yeah I’ve only been to Cebu and Bohol… they were going to take me to try fruit bat but plans changed and I didn’t try a Balut haha… I love the Pancit and Lechon tho… probably my favorites 😍
Honestly, I don’t like balut either. 🤭😁 Pancit is a dish we actually assimilated in our culture originally from the Chinese. But Filipinos were able to create a variety of Pancit like a hundred ways of cooking it. 😊
What a delicious way to travel the world without even leaving the page! 🍴🌍 The collection beautifully captures how food can tell the story of a place, its people, and its traditions.
The Boodle Fight meal from Sagbayan, Bohol looks like such a wonderful celebration of Filipino food culture, and the grilled chicken intestines and hearts on a stick certainly add an adventurous touch! 😄 The swordfish, prawns, and rice wrapped in leaves make the whole spread feel wonderfully rustic and authentic.
That boodle fight spread in Bohol looks incredible, and I have to admire your bravery with the chicken hearts on a stick! We’ve found letting our kids try the “scary” street food is half the fun of traveling, they surprise you every time. The cook-your-own pork belly would be a huge hit in our house too.
Yes the boodle fight was so good… not so much the chicken hearts and intestines but I was trying to be a good sport 😁… lol at “scary street food” and the pork belly was pretty tasty along with all the other items that went with it. Thank you for your comment 😊
Umm yeah I used to be adventurous but I’ve settled down much the past 5 years or so 😁 and thank you very much about my songs. May I ask who you are? Your just showing up as “someone” on my end
Looks yummy. I have a friend who lives near Cebu City, not exactly sure where, but close.

Every looks amazing. I loved your caption “chicken intestines on a fricken stick”. 😂
Also giggled how you tossed in a random Chick Fil A picture. All of these incredible creations and basic chick fil a goodness. Excellent my friend. 😊
