🎧 Phillips, Craig and Dean & Hillsong covers
Today has been tough for me musically and spiritually. It’s like I just can’t play or sing. I’m not flowing. Everything feels hard. That’s not normal for me.
I wasn’t going to post anything, but some on my other platforms look forward to my Sunday post. I prayed about it, and I need to get over myself.
Because it’s not about me and my best. It’s about Him.

Both are beautiful. Thank you for posting even if you were having a tough day.
Thank you. I appreciate it. Means a lot. I guess its not too bad. I hope you had a great weekend.
Let’s just say this music helped me too! Thank you!
That’s awesome. I’m glad it did. You’re welcome. Thank you back.
Thank you for sharing this so honestly. Sometimes even the things that normally bring us joy and flow can suddenly feel heavy, and there is no shame in having one of those days.
I especially appreciate your reminder that it is not about giving our best performance, but about offering what we have with a sincere heart. Perhaps those imperfect moments can become some of the most meaningful acts of faith.
Thank you Vijay. You cheered me up my friend 😁😎👊 fist bump.
I am glad you decided to post. Hope things get better.
Thank you much. I appreciate that
Hey hey, creative being here:
I really value your candor, honesty and commitment to your WordPress audience, but, if i may: i hear your having/had a tough day & i understand thatbbeing/staying creative today just wasn’t working like usual.
As an EDM deejay, hiphop artist, and part time graffiti enthusiast I can sympathize with wanting “things perfect” b4 i move forward or move on.
Usually, when im feeling “funky” or “out of it” i go back to “the drawing board” and sift thru the “contemporary things that worked vs contemporary things that didnt work.”
Write down the results of “free space one” in a 5 subject notebook. And since the notebook is out: its time for a writing prompt: write whats funky, bargain w your grief -like, 90 seconds of grieving for 10 minutes of the Big Game- enn process all that iz on yuh mynde..
Finally (breath w me) when you’re done i want you to find some Lysol Air Freshener and spray
Afterwards, take the same notebook,
Hey bro, I really appreciate the advice. Thank you for your comment 😎
Take the Lysol, spray it: and just vibe .. let that aroma therapy guide you and remind you of all the zen that iz n your lifestyle and remember.. when youre feeling funky or off .. just spray some Lysol Air Freshner and let the vibe take over yuhh .. peace!_!_!
I actually use Lysol spray almost daily. It’s great stuff. Thanks again man.
The Lysol Conditioning is based off of this science: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_conditioning#Pavlov%27s_research?wprov=sfla1
Your dedication to your calling ,even on the days when it feels like a heavy lift, is so inspiring. Thank you for choosing to post and share your heart with us today. Praying for a restful week ahead and that the joy of playing and singing returns effortlessly very soon! 🕊️
Thank you so much Meeta. I think I’m back to normal today lol. Also I really enjoy your posts. You’re a great writer. Thank you very much for the prayers. Sending them back your way.
Yay! I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling back to normal today. 😊 Thank you so much for the sweet compliment on my writing, that truly made my day! Wishing you all the very best ❤️ 🌹
My pleasure 🙂🙃
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you very much 😎
🥳
Yes, the great things in life aren’t just about us! Thanks!
so true. I appreciate you. You’re welcome.
If it is the artistic side that causes this, then it is a roller coaster ride of struggling with wanting the best. We are our own worst critics when it comes to creating music. You’re doing everything really well musically.
Winters arriving here soon. The darker nights and weather changes can be pretty impactful too. I suppose there are very many reasons for emotional feelings. It’s how to pinpoint and recognise the causes. Then appropriate therapy values can be put in place.
Look after yourself. Take a breather. That’s really important.
Cheers Bryan. 🙏🏽🍁🍂
Hey Gray. Yeah it was the artistic side. I feel fine today. Yesterday was just one of those days lol
Thank you buddy. I hope you have a great upcoming week. I read your rrecent post earlier and listened to your song. Great job! Sounding excellent in my headphones. I had my built in EQ set to Rock. I have a lil button on them that allows me to choose “Pop, Rock, or Bass Boost” 😎🎧
Artistically? I call the roller coaster ‘Warts and all’. Basically, sharing what you think is not quite right helps you realise, when people support your music, it actually is okay. I always thought it used to be a good thing with self critique for myself. Now? It’s just enjoy the whole process whatever. So keep on doing what you are doing. As said, it sounds great.
EQ? It’s difficult to get at a decent holistic equilibrium when listening experiences are involved. It’s because of the many ways people choose what to listen through. Currently, the Where in the World song is just a ‘record the tracks and balance them quickly’. It’s simply a jumble of sounds. After days or weeks, you get used to the impact of the sound and then return to mix it properly.
I’m hopeless at mixing, so it has to be a fingers crossed exercise when it happens. Your headphones sound very cool. Other than the ones on my Mac M2 system for recording, my daily choice listening of two Bluetooth and one lead based are pretty basic. 🙏🏽 for listening.
Very wise words, my friend. I will try and enjoy the process regardless. And I feel you on the EQ stuff.
I like your first audio better than the original I heard on YT. Great stuff.
I needed those words too, this morning.
What a great compliment. I appreciate that. I’m glad it helped you out.
I was just reading your last post on Enya and listening to the song. Good stuff!
Thanks man. You made that song your own.
You’re welcome. This is one of the ones I heard years ago on the radio and later I grabbed my guitar and just tried it the way it sounded to me. Like I’ve never even googled it to see how they actually do it lol and then the lil intro guitar part I made up for it and added it later. Thanks again. Have a good one.
The guitar is excellent here. I don’t know how you did it, especially the intro. You nailed it, man!
Thanks so much brother. I came up with that guitar part just sitting around practicing one day and then one Sunday I was performing the song in a worship service and that was the first time I added the intro and it fit really well and sounded good to me so now it’s become a part of it.
Both are great, and there are days and times like that. Just keep on moving forward toward your dreams.
Thanks man. I appreciate that. 😎
I enjoyed Mercy Came Running. And I loved the artwork you chose for the post. Can you tell us the impressionist?
Thank you Michael and the art is by El Greco
Thanks for getting back to me.
You’re welcome 😎
Thank you for pushing through and sharing anyway! 🙏✨ Some of the most heartfelt and authentic praise comes from those exact moments when everything feels hard. Your consistency and vulnerability are such a blessing to your listeners—praying that peace and renewal fill your heart and restore your flow this week! 🎧💖🙌
You’re welcome and thank you back for the beautiful comment
I really appreciated reading this today. We all have those days where we feel like we are just not flowing, whether we are trying to sing or just get through the morning. It takes a lot of quiet courage to post anyway when everything feels hard, like you did here with #29. Hearing Forever Reign when you felt off your game meant more than a polished performance would have. That verse from 2 Corinthians was a good reminder for me too that we do not have to bring our best performance to be useful. Thank you for showing up and sharing even when it felt heavy.
Thank you for checking it out
You’re very welcome. It was genuinely helpful to read your post. It’s interesting how sometimes when we feel off our game, that’s precisely when we learn to move through stiffness, rather than trying to avoid it. Those moments can be surprisingly freeing.
